Entry #008: Chupacabra

  • About 3 feet tall at the shoulders

  • Body shape resembling a kangaroo, with large, well developed back legs, and a long tail that seemed to serve as a counterbalance

  • Moves primarily by hopping

  • Bluish green, spotted with red

  • Large reddish eyes, but no pupil; most likely covered by a nictitating membrane

  • Long spines along the creature's back, ranging from the back of the neck to the base of the tail

  • Has a series of depressions along its neck - possibly some sort of sensory organ

  • Mouth contains a three-pronged tongue that extends to drain the blood from its prey 

  • Extremely skittish

  • Completely unique creature, unrelated to any other known lifeforms
