  • Mostly resembles an octopus, but also has two longer, hooked, tentacles like a squid

  • Hooks are most likely used to catch and hold prey

  • Covered in barnacles and coral

  • Head measured approximately 45 feet long

  • Eight normal tentacles measured 25 feet long each

  • Two long tentacles measured between 100 and 110 feet each

  • At a total of 150-160 feet long, this is the largest ever recorded cephalopod, and one of the largest living creatures of all time

  • Either a unique specimen with migrational tendencies, or it may be a species with habitats around the world
